Duften er sød og frugtig.
Smagen starter sødt, men bliver en smule besk.

D'une robe sombre a l'image de la bouteille ce rhum 10 ans a plus de caractère que le Don Papa classique.
Il est moins aromatique que le classique mais garde la même base fruité, relativement moelleux il est quand même plus sec que son cadet.
Très épicé il ne plaira pas a tous le monde moins que la classique tout du moins. On retrouve des notes cacao vanille avec une touche de cannelle selon température de dégustation. Cela reste un très bon rhum et difficile a trouver

I like Don Papa, but is a rum not for always, taste of orange, cinnamon, and so much spices. Is nice to drink just one glass, because i so much particular!

8:On the nose, the rum is very thick and rich, like sweet molasses. Aromatically powerful, the nose is heady and loaded. It has a syrupy, sweet edge of banana and orange, like a syrup with cinnamon and other Christmas spices. One thinks of an orange liqueur that almost crystallizes on the rim of the glass.
When the liquid is passed over the rim of the glass, it's the molasses that spreads its caramel and coffee aromas, always with a very sweet sensation. With the coffee, we have a milk chocolate orangette, followed by some confectionery-style red fruit. The acidity also brings out fruit aromas such as maracuja and green banana. The spirit of a cottony liqueur asserts itself again with Christmas spices mingling with orange.
8:The entry is sweet and very round, with orange liqueur with spices and coffee. These spices tingle for a moment, but are quickly overtaken by a very fat wave of sugar and caramel. The midpalate is warm and intense, with red fruits, ginger and citrus. Thick, sweet vanilla soon fills the palate again, with a hint of exotic wood.
7,5:The finish retains the citrus flavors, grapefruit to be precise, and the vanilla is still very consistent and sweet.

Tastes pretty good, has a flavour i just can't place and it's a bit on the "boring" side but not bad

Like this rum, nice to sip straight or with ice. Is it worth the extra cash compared to the other rums? Don’t know.

Dufter og smager meget af appelsin (og rosiner). Ret sød, god eftersmag.
Lidt for dyr ift. smag og kvalitet

But I will never purchase it. Much too expensive... It is smooth and good for beginners.
