One of my go-to runs for a Cuba Libre! Very smooth, good price. Just an all around solid rum. I wouldnβt recommend Eclipse for a straight rum but their XO and Select is quite good for straight or on the rocks. Iβve been to the Mount Gay distillery in Barbados, awesome place. Very rustic and still a truly handmade rum! 10/10 recommended for mixed drinks, 6.5/10 for straight/rocks
I first found this rum in Barbados in 1987. I was very good but I could not get in in Pennsylvania until several years later. The aroma is great and it is good on the rocks or mixed. This is my go to rum and one of my favorites
Great taste, really good smells. Colour warm dark yellow gold, for special occasions
My favourite go to tipple, smooth and tastes like caramel

An absolutely delicious blend of spices. Not too sweet. An absolute 10 with coke. A step or two behind when neat or on the rocks. One of the best.
Unique flavors, always know it is Mt. Gay. Available in many bars, great mixer.

Great taste, perfect on its own or with Coke. Good price too.
Just good all round for mixing or as it comes from bottle and its oldest rum in world

Mount Gay Eclipse is a wonderful tasting rum - with great flavor from the oak barrels. Mount Gay is one the oldest rum distillery's and they have maintained the delicious flavor. Eclipse is a must in every bar
