Somehow I lost rum taste when I had this. Too much spice takes away the usual fruitiness of this rum. I would go for more mature not-spiced version.
At least this isn’t overly seeetened, but it’s strong on the clove
Had on The rocks was a bit different.. Should have been with cola... ..
Strong cola and anise flavours. Smooth as hell. So much cola it’s almost like Bubblegum flavours… crazy that it’s still labelled as 40%. Can’t tell I’m drinking a spirit, it tastes more like I’m drinking candy. It’s almost off-putting how sweet it is. I like sweet rums but apparently there is a limit. For spiced rum, I prefer a lot of vanilla, nutmeg and cloves while still tasting rum. This is just not for me.
I admit, I'm not a big fan of spiced rum but this stuff definitely don't cut it for me.
Overbearing taste of cloves make it taste artificial.
rom med krydderier og andet tilsat bliver aldrig blandt min favoritter.
This is a good one if you have no other choices and you MUST have a Dark & Stormy. I would have it for sipping unless i had a cigar in hand and no other choice of rums.
It is pretty fruity on the nose, which made it quit appealing, but it feels like a head banger in the morning. Like I mixed it with coke (which I never do), and got a double shot of sweetness.
So its just ok, not great.
This is a heavily spiced/flavored rum. Perhaps too much. Unfortunately one of the predominate flavors I taste is cloves.
I hate cloves.
I do also detect citrus and figgy undertones. A hint of cinnamon & nutmeg as well. Other spices and flavors that I cannot readily identify.
I honestly cannot give this more than a 4 however I clearly see the best use for this is in some mulled cider variant during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Others clearly like this more than I but I offer my opinion as is.
Spice laden craziness, with orange peel, nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon. When mixed, the spices cut through coke like a chainsaw. There is some solid rum underneath, but barely noticeable. If you like spiced rums (I am not) add five starts. My wife's absolute #1 among spiced rums. Too sweet for me.

It has quite a forward cinnamon aroma.
"Its pretty smooth and doesn’t give much burn beyond the cinnamon kick. It’s not very rough it has a fairly pleasant burn."

Not for me 5 out of 10
Better than no rum, but the mix of Spices in this just don't work for me. Friends and Rum drinking family rate it, so I keep trying, but it just tastes too much of terpinols or cresols - sort of like a pine disinfectant. Apologies to the lovers 🙄
