Ron Esclavo XO Cask

Very pleasant in the nose with nice notes of cigar smoke, toffee, dried fruit...A real explosion in the mouth due to the high alcohol degree. Many flavours find their way to every corner of the mouth, even between the teeth. It's a unique sensation. You have to take a small sip, else it's too strong and covers all the flavours.

Wow! I don't usually sip overproofs, but this is delicious. At 130 proof (65% ABV), this sipper has a lot of heat. Take small sips and let the flavor wash over your mouth. I'm getting notes of chocolate and coconut, with a long finish of dried fruit.

Trots sin styrka så är detta en mycket len rom. Jag märker knappt att den är så stark,söt,mycket smak och så gott som ingen spritsmak.

60% är lite väl starkt men detta är en fashinerande rom, behåll den i munnen ett tag och smakerna tar överhand, blommigt vaniljigt och kola i massor.

This drink is STRONG... And I am not a fan of those kind of strong things, the taste (in my humble opinion) are slightly warped with such a high procentage... But here it kind of works...

Ikke så venlig som resten af serien, da jeg finder den en smule mere sprittet. Men en ganske dejlig rom alligevel

The regular XO is almost unbarebly sweet, but the Cask Strength's alcohol levels help a little bit. Still very sweet and closer to 6.5 than 7.

Fryser man tungen skal denne nok få den varm igen. En behagelig sødme, men tror det med stærke rom 65% er endnu en ting man skal lære at drikke, før man sætter rigtig pris på det.

Den er stærk, lad den lige dampe af for at kunne nyde den, meget sød. Bestemt et bekendtskab værd.
