The rum has a nice taste and a full body, but I feel that it is all attributed to the huge amount of sugar. Due to the sweetnes, the rum comes off as somewhat cheap (which it isn't) and generic. Thia makes it hard (for me) to distinguish any craftmanship, there is only sugar, and alcohol (with a strong burn!).
Nevertheless, if you like your rum sweet, it's a great choice. Although I also prefer a much lower alcohol percentage, I feel the two extremes complement each other nicely (but it is still very sweet).

Sharp - sweat - balanced - quite inexpansive. I like!

Amazing pure or dilluted. That beeswax nose is something I‘ve never experienced before. Buttery, bitter finish

Starting out kinda prickly on the tongue, but then the aroma hits you; vanilla and caramel.
Very tasty

Insanity in a glass. Smooth, beautiful. 65% but you wouldn't think it from such a gentle warmth. So good. P. S who gave this 3/10??!!

A blend of rums from the Dominican Republic aged 12 - 15 years, bottled at 65% cask strength. This is the 3rd version of the same name. The first version had rums aged up to 23 years.

Bottle: Slim, rounded. 0.5 litre only.
Colour: Dark amber.
Nose: Stronger (the higher ABV is really noticeable), but not aggressive. On the contrary, it is very pleasant. In the aroma I smelled honey, vanilla, caramel, Czech rum praline, dark chocolate, overripe orange and a little wood.
Taste: In one word, great! Sweet and strong, making the sip burn on the palate and tongue. You can find there spices (cloves, nutmeg), apricot-orange marmalade, dark-milk chocolate, sweet grapes.
Aftertaste: Long.

Summary: An excellent combination of sweetness and sharpness that warms the throat. This is a taste experience that I recommend. If it were a tad less sweet, I would give it a clear 10 points.

Overall rating: 9.5 out of 10

Wow! Sweet but very well balanced because of the 65% alcohol, and with an aftertaste that lasts forever.

That has been the most full and rounded rum I have tasted so far. Take in account I am not too much versed into rums, but have my fair deal of tasting to be able to compare. And this rum has made full justification to my expectations. May you be warned! If you’re not into really hard high voltage alcohol, do not go for this one - you will spoil your experience and the rating of this gem! Amazing full body rum with a strong kick into your head and right into your heart. I love it!

Stark! Bara en sipp och spara i munnen. De olika smakerna fortsätter att komma.
