Neurazí, ale ani neohromí. Vůně příjemná, jemný rum.
Nice looking bottle on the shelf but the liquid is quite forgettable.
I didn’t found what I like as a taste on this rum. I won’t buy it again, i think it could be a good mix with other drinks such as coke in order to make a cuba libre.
Thats it. In a previous career I was a cabinetmaker and after a day of cutting oak you go home with the taste in your mouth. I took my first sip and that taste of cabinet came back to me after 20 years away from that business. Oak. Unmistakable.
I always enjoy the search for subtle flavor in every great rum, this one's subtle flavor is....oak. Can't taste any complexities, just wood.
All in all, a smooth rum, very plain, but drinkable.
I bought all Relicario's in 50cc bottles and there is a reason I waited so long with this one as the other two expressions were not very convincing. All Relicario's have in common that they are a bit boring and way overpriced in my opinion and this, the cheapest one, is no exception.
On the nose I get alcohol, a wee bit of oak and vanilla and some fruity notes, mostly raisin and a slightly sour scent of berries/grapes rather than citrus. On the palate it is rather weak apart from the very present alcohol and pepper. A bit of caramel and vanilla, a bit nutty and again a light sour taste come through but you really have to look for it. It also feels a bit sticky on my lips and just like with the other Relicario's I suspect this rum got a little (chemical) help. It goes down easy enough but I am glad I only have 50cc. In a way this is for me the best (the least bad) of the three but for the €30-35 they are sold for I can find myself 5 dozen or so better rums.
Not worth your time nor your money but ymmv.
Nepříliš zajímavý, v chuti takový prázdný nasladlý syntetický asi vanilka trochu a sud. Bez závěru. Žádná tragédie ale tenhle typ generických navoněných supermarket rumů, mě neslovil. 5,5.
The bottles design could fool you, its looks better then i taste. This must be the younger barrels from Oliver & Oliver, this Rum is in my opinion in between sipper or for drinks. It is to much oak and without body. Sorry I expected more!! for the money 12 year Esclaco from Oliver & Oliver is a better choise.
10/10 Bottle and overall deisgn. Bottle is heavy, with wooden opening and nice black "tattoo" on the bottle.
9/10 is great rum scent with strong cane and smoke ,
5/10 taste is a little like rum for cakes, aromatic with something artificial, it has strong (cheap) alcohol sensation as aftertaste. Taste is more heavy not really for sipping.

Caramel and buttery notes.
"Starts sweetly with notes of caramel and toffee, then get bitterness – tobacco and some spicy white pepper."

Awesome packaging but nearly OK rum 5 out of 10
The packaging is awesome and the bottle has a drawing of a boat on it which is really cool. The rum otherwise doesn't taste good, it has absolutely no identity and the flavour goes away leaving only bad bitterness on your tongue.
