Smell alcohol mainly.
Then taste pineapple and vanilla. Very sweet (too much) with a strong after burn. Overall I was pretty disapointedโ by this Plantation.

A bit sweet, a bit of burn. Alcohol on the nose. A little fruit in there. Not my cup of tea.

One of the first good rums I ever bought. It was an awesome experience and would love to try it again

Not one of my favorites, tastes like refined white sugar. The most boring of the plantation rums i have tried, but works as a sipper or for drinks if you like it light and sweet.

Plantation Panama Old Reserve 2002 has a minimal hint of sweetness to it and bit of fruitiness and spiciness.

Nice rum but not as good as the Barbados or Nicaragua vintage in my opinion
