Cheap thats the good about it. For this quality it comes in a great retail price. Not the smoothest and most well balanced rum but in my case I would buy this rather than Diplomatico...

Vanilla, oak, caramel and cocoa touch in aroma; honey in the beginning, caramel/vanilla in the middle and chocolate in the end of the body with; decent woody finish which lasted in the average lasted tail.

Amber color that reminds me of iced tea, very little bite, not a lot to make this stand out in a pack.

Al naso è delicato, con canna da zucchero, cacao, caffè, zucchero bruciato.
Al palato è dolce con caffè, il finale è corto e poco corposo.

Dark rum, with a sweet dark toffee aroma. Although the profile is "darker" then the average Oliver & Oliver product, the palette still has clear company resemblance. It's big on very sweet toffee and some sweet dried fruit notes followed by a slightly bland oaky finish. I find it a pleasant sipper, but perhaps a little boring.

Numbered rum in nice blue bag with golden embroidery. But inside is typical Oliver, for me start to be boring after so many subtle variations. Sweet and woody.

A nicely balanced rum, though admittedly on the sweeter end. Quite good value for money, even if it isn't the most complex of rums.
