Ce rhum goûte vraiment les agrumes ananas et coconut. Même chose à l odeur. Doux pour le pourcentage d alcool. Bon pour rhum l été avec un coke
I should have read the bottle as it is less uniquely spiced and more a pina colada, just add water. Its Pineapple and Coconut rum with a dash of cinnamon. Not something anyone could drink straight as it is extremely sweet. A good rum if you want cocktails by saving money on half the ingredients. Comes in at a bit of a steep price for what is pretty much a fancy cocktail mix. I would say 'spiced' is a term used incorrectly, as its more like a fruit flavoured rum. Glad I tried it, sad I didn't read the label, and satisfied I've done a rating so can now give the bottle away.
If you want a caribbean tasty Cuba Libre than this is a very good choice. It is comparable to Havana Cuban Spiced.
Bacardi is not a brand that I normally go for. It was on offer at my local supermarket, is a relatively uniquely flavoured spiced rum, and I figured the more 'premium' pricing and bottling must mean it's at least slightly better than the standard spiced offerings from Bacardi / Captain Morgan's etc. I took the "aged" description with a pinch of salt, but assumed it would at least be slightly smoother than the average mass market spiced rum.
Upon opening the bottle, I was immediately hit by strong pineapple and coconut aromas.
Neat, it slips down smoothly, but is too sweat and fruity for my liking. Not what I'm after from a sipping rum (not that I was suprised).
Mixed, it makes a very fruity and tropical tasting Dark & Stormy / Spiced Mule or Cuba Libre. The pineapple initially dominates (perhaps overbearingly so), then the coconut punches through on the finish. In both cases, I found a squeeze of lime juice helped to balance the flavour (hence "Cuba Libre" not "Rum & Coke"). The "Spiced Mule" ended up tasting somewhere between a "Dark & Stormy" and a fruity "Rum Punch", but without hitting the spot quite so well as either. Pleasant and easy drinking, but it's not a take on these cocktails that I would want regularly.
I highly doubt I will ever buy this again, but I'd happily settle for it while out.
This blend is spiced and has flavour undertones of pineapple and coconut. The UK Bacardi site indicates this can be sipped straight or as a mixer. Straight up I find it's too sweet for me but on the plus side, there is no alcohol burn as with some mixers. It's not expensive and I think it's great for a mixed drink.

Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Not a lot of rum in it. First sip is somehow ok, but no more than 3.
Works in Cuba Libre only. Too sweet for the Pina Colada
