Botucal is not a Puerto Rican Bacardi rum, but a Venezuelan Liqueur de Rhum by Diplomático. Botucal is the name it is marketed with in Europe. Nice strong and sweet flavor.
I was very surprised at just how good this rum is for the price point. Great deal at $30, and as always Diplomatico never fails to deliver a nice drink. I liked it neat but would consider it for a top shelf cocktail at the price you can get it at to step up a good libation.
A good rum that's very sweet but it misses the spot on the depth of flavour ....slightly disappointing with not a lot of flavours mixed in with the rum and suger

Hier kommen alle Süssmäuler auf Ihre Kosten,auch die Damenwelt ist meist begeistert von diesem süssen Rumlikör,die leichte Tabak und Rauchnote in Verbindung mit der extremen Süsse macht ihn irgendwie interessseant auch wenn der ein oder andere Rumliebhaber da wahrscheinlich den Kopf schüttelt.
Da er aber meinen Geschmack trifft und ich ihn als Dessert schätze gebe ich totzdem 8 Punkte zumal er mit knapp 25 Euro auch nicht überteuert ist
