Captain Morgan Black Spiced

A simple affordable rum that can be drunk neat. Before the discovery of high-end rums my favorite rum

it's more like a rum based liqueur, very sweet but quite smooth. Good mixer.

For spiced rums lovers. It's too rich and with unnatural taste

Spice and sweetness infinitely more balanced than the basic Morgan spiced. Good in a citrus cocktail or Cuba Libre but not much else.

Good for mixers, not so for sipping.
I found it a touch better than kraken, and easy better than other captain morgans.
It has a deep color and a sweet vanilla taste that goes great with coke

Podría ser casi cómico, pero me recuerda a aquellos jarabes para la tos de niño, la verdad es que es más fuerte y me trae a la memoria el sabor a regaliz y caramelo pero le verdad es que es un sabor intenso que en la lengua duelen los 40 grados y en el gaznate perdura pero no es ninguna maravilla, yo no bebo Coca-Cola así que no mezclo y para los 12 € que me ha costado hay mejores cosas que degustar .

Good budget rum for mixing...licorice, caramel and clove notes seem to blend well with dry ginger.

Stong mixed caramel, vanilla and other spices aroma. It's very sweet and thick. Goes smoothly, but leaves burning aftertaste which is not that pleasant. Anyway, its totally fine with cola and lime :)

Dark, aromatic rum, sweet, good for solo drinking and blends. Probably better than the Kraken.
