This rum has been aged for 6 years in bourbon casks before being aged for 4 years in sherry and banjuls casks.
Alcohol: 40%
Nose: lots of caramel, grapes, sherry, some oak, tobacco and a slight hint of alcohol
Palate: Honey, indefinable spices, caramel, grapes. Very sweet taste
Finish: short to medium, again very sweet, honey
Conclusion :
This rum is really very sweet and probably a good starter for beginners. However, a little too sweet and not very eventful for most advanced players.
