Subtle but punchy as its 59% abv, sweet and peppery mix but the other flavours you need to sit there and focus on them. Was selling for £55 for 500ml when available - would we buy it, probably not, not sure its worth that compared to other rums out there for the similar price. As for the rum itself perhaps it has makings of something good - wouldn't turn it away, wouldn't run towards it.

Smell - cut grass, buttery, sweet, maple syrup and vanilla
Taste - woody notes, continuation of the sweet vanilla notes with some caramel
After Taste - medium/long lasting, with woody note continuing, spice finish with pepper notes
