Tasted this interesting cane juice/Pot Still rum at Sweden Rumfest 2023.
The Etudes is the second step in the Single Farm Origin development.
The first step was totally unaged Pre Cask rum from different areas in Grenada.
This is the distillate released 2021 as Pre Cask New Bacolet now aged for 18 months in first fill American Oak Casks and Premium French Oak Casks.
The aroma is very fresh and fruity with hints of sugar cane and oak.
At the palate it’s fruity and a little sweet with hints of plums, sugar cane, spices and oak.
The final is long and soft.
