Miniature bottle from an advent calendar.
44% alcohol, suggesting this is the 5th permutation on this label. No statement on age or cask.
Colour: deep amber, probably has some caramel added
Nose: similar to the 4th version, raisin and overripe bananas but stronger smokey wood notes
Palate: an attempt at figs and raisins with a hint of Jamaican funk is quickly overwhelmed by the syrupy sugar bomb. Some burnt toffee notes feebly bring up the rear.
Burn: very gentle despite 44%
Throat: not much lingers, other than the need to brush my teeth to avoid the caries
Summary: the sweetness of a liqueur, lacking the aromas to balance it
Of course full of Riise aroma and taste 😊😊😊 you know.. Quite stronger and less sweeter
