It smells very sweet at first. Honey, vanilla, caramel. After letting it air a little, the grapes and a little oaky spiciness appear in it. At first glance, one would think that it is cognac finished in a rum barrel and not the other way around. Very grapey. Cognac and Tokaj barrels are very powerful. Then the second sip is more rum. Vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, grapes, honey, mint with a little spiciness. One of the most complex rums I've ever drunk. :)
