Aroma: Ne moc povedená vůně. Cukrová vata, umělohmotný dojem. Je to plané, prázdné a nudné. Snad trocha sherry. (70 b)
Chuť: Jemné, nasládlé, v sherry stylu. Karamel, trochu do třešní, perník. Každopádně v chuti určitě lepší než ve vůni, ale stále nic moc extra. V dochuti větrovost. (80 b)
Body: 75/100
Shrnutí: Většinou Heffrony, Republicy a podobné aktivity chválím, ale tady mi přijde, že se jim to nějak moc nepovedlo, nejvíc mi vadila ta plastová vůně.

I like classical Bozkov Republica rum, which is not high-end rum, but is drinkable and the taste is smooth.
This one, on the other hand was dissapointment.
I thought it will be better version, but it is exactly the opposite.
It has strong alcohol taste and smell, dark color.
It is not sweet, alcohol taste beats all the other aromas and it has strange bitter/chemical? aftertaste.
Aroma/smell: alcohol, as if they put vodka in sugar cane sugar, rum like sweet
Taste: alcohol, sugar cane, rum artificial flavoring, bitter aftertaste.

Nothing special at a price worth it. Expected better according ratings in this page

Starting with the looks, the rum is quite dark, which can be attributed to the use of colorants, which is common at this price point.
In terms of aroma, there is wood, glue, caramel, and a slight hint of citrus.
Now for the most important part - taste. This Republica is quite sweet (slightly less than Diplomatico RE though) and tastes a lot of caramel. The ending is minty, which I found quite interesting. What's not that great is the aftertaste, which is somewhat artificial, as in plastic, glue, or something like that.
Overall, this is much better than the original Republica Exclusive, although I still have to taste the Republica Reserva. Additionally, what Bozkov is doing so well with the Republica is the marketing. The bottles look quite nice, and there's this "heritage" of the First Republic. Back to this bottle, for the price, I'd say its very good. The taste is fine, with the only major downside being the weird artificial-like, bitter end.

Yes, i understand, that there are tons of better rums. But this one is for 12,5€ per 0,5l bottle. In the smell and taste is not so bad. There are some honey and flower tones, all packed in vanilla. There is no alcohol kick. I definitely tried so much worse rums for higher price (e.g. Saint James, Takamaka, Cacique). So, for easy evenings, it is a very good option.

It's pretty soft and taste pretty good. I have tasted some fruit notes but overall i like this one. It's similar to original Republica.

Vůně: Něco sladce karamelově-vanilkově nahnilého mi v tomto rumu nesedí, tam někde vzadu slabě probleskuje nějaký lak a dub
Chuť: Sladká, nahnilé dřevo, skořice, vanilka
Dochuť: Sladko-hořká, lehce dubová
Je mi líto, jistě chvályhodný pokus, mě bohužel tento rum absolutně nesedl. :(
