I tasted already a Secret Treasure Gardel from this year but with 42%. I have some expectations and ideas how this one would taste.

Nose: Strong nose, I get grains with medical notes, some molasses, burned sugar, vanilla with honey, dry fruits and oak. Not very saturated nose but it meets my expectation. It's more medical than I expected but the grains indicates it's a Gardel rum.

Taste: Medical start without any sweetness, but with grains and some bitter substances (maybe molasses) in combination with some vanilla and oak. The middle is a little bit sweeter but with the same aromas, it's very medical the whole time. Then at the finish the sweet aromas are rising like caramel, vanilla from the wood, dry fruits and sweet oak.

Aftertaste: Remanins medical on the palet (mulp bandages and disinfectant), oak and some mint.

Aftertaste: Overall it's a medical Gardel, with some oak/vanilla from the bourbon cask.

Conclusion: It's clearly a Gardel, but too medicinal for me, the other aromas are somewhat lost in it. The dilution can be felt. I would give it 84 points because it has the typical Gardel character.
You also have to bear in mind that this rum is much rarer than Caroni, for example.
If you like such rums, a long aged TDL or Reunion would certainly be a good choice.
