Tasted at the Maverick Distillery in San Antonio on 2/23/23. Pours clear. Very mild aroma of nectarines and biscuit. The mouthfeel is very mild and pleasant with almost no finishing pepper or burn. This would be a fine entry rum for someone shy about craft distilled US rum. Made with black strap sugar as a portion of the distiller’s bill. Hybrid column technique.
