Got this sample for free from RumX.
It’s a pot still Clarendon MMW distilled in 1997 whereafter it’s continentally aged for 24 years in an ex-rum oak barrel before bottled in 192 bottles at 49,2%.
The nose is very fruity and mild with clear aromas of orange and citrus.
In mouth, at palate and during the medium long finish it’s sweet and the orange becomes even clearer but there’s also hints of citrus and wood.
Overall a very round and smooth rum with lots of orange taste.
Picture: My emptied sample with a poured glass.
