William Hinton 5 Cask Blend 3-Year

I'm not a fan of agricole probably due to drinking poor examples but this was different. Nose was a bit sweeter than expected and it was much smoother than expected with little to no back end burn. It was about as layed back as any rum that I've enjoyed and if i didn't know it was agricole there were no clues. Just a pleasant/subtle taste of vanilla and oak. Enjoy this one my friends.

Duft: tobak, træ, sødme/fersken (cigaræske)
Smag: frugt, sødme, fad, tobak, fermateret frugt.
Point: 5 (for meget tobak, tætter på en whiskeys)

I don't like blends, and 3 years is not enough for me, but this rum is just great. The only thing I don't like is the price, around 55 euros

For amaters from other reviews: don't rate with no experience.

Strong in both aroma and flavor. Taste disappears quickly. Nice vanilla, oak and oporto tones. This isn't bad Agricole at all.

The first whiff or smell reminded me of old moldy socks..disgusting. I then gathered courage to taste it. And it is a definite no.

I get strong notes of apricot from this. A little sharp to be a sipper, but I like this one quite a bit.

Couldn't really place the overall flavor profile other than I don't like it. Aftertaste is almost like bitter licorice.

Nice color, agricole style - it gets better once it has breathed a bit.

Nice smell of barrels, but taste is very weird. Strong tones of agricole and very agressive at all.
