Legendary Trinidad-based rum distillery Caroni closed its doors in 2003. Since then, the distillery’s distinctive, heavy rums have become some of the most collected.
A single cask bottling of Caroni column still rum distilled in 1997. The column-style rum was allowed to be stored tropical and continental in ex-rum barrels for 25 years and was bottled with a cask strength of 64,5% alcohol.
