This Saint James Brut de Colonne BIO is an important part in the distillery’s way of talking a bigger environmental responsibility.
It’s distilled during one day 2020 in their Creole column and bottled Brut de Colonne without any alcohol reduction.
The nose is rustic, vegetal and spicy with some sweetness and hints of citrus.
In mouth and at the palate it’s rich, vegetal, oily and spicy with sweetness from the sugar cane and taste of citrus.
The long finish is very aromatic, peppery and sweet with hints of licorice.
Overall a great AOC Blanc which is extremely tasty if you let it rest a while in your mouth before you swallow it.
