I’ve built my own calendar with samples from Rhum Attitude.
In slot #1 I had the Papillon Blanc from Guadeloupe named after the islands nickname.
It’s an Agricole from the Esperance distillery owned by François Longueteau.
The distillery also produces the brands Longueteau and Karukera.
It’s distilled in a Creole column and is a blend of 70% blue cane, 20% red cane and 10% yellow cane at ABV 53%.
The aroma and taste is typical for Agricole’s Blanc. It’s fruity, vegetal and spicy with some sweetness. It’s also quite round and elegant with a long finish.
A very good start for the calendar.
