This Montebello, from the Carrere distillery, produced from cane juice from red cane is bottled for or by Barikenn.
The rum was distilled in 2019 and was first during 2021 released at ABV 81,6% then a part of it was reduced to 52% and released in June 2022 in 551 bottles.
The nose is dry, vegetal, earthy, spicy and round with aromas of citrus.
In mouth and palate as well as during the rather long finish it’s sweet, round, oily, vegetal, fresh, spicy and dry but you also feels some stickiness from the 52%.
Overall a very good and complex Agricole Blanc that won’t disappoint anyone that likes this type of rum.
