Ten to One Uncle Nearest Bourbon Cask Finish

Funky on the nose; It might be the Jamaican in the blend. I like it more than other Ten to One expressions.

Weak for 43% abv, tastes watered down wood is overwhelming unbalanced taste and finish is just a shirt burn

Bought this for a sipping rum. I like the back-story behind the company.

As a sipping rum, it leaves me wanting. It has lots of wood throughout the entire sip - reminds me of whiskey more than rum. Starts off a little sweet and a little "hot", mellows very quickly to oak with pecans and very faded caramel notes. Leaves a slight warmth in the chest. Has a fairly long pleasant finish.
