Smells like the liquid that my dentist gave after cleaning.
I have smelt and drank rum before, this is too overwhelming and not enjoyable at all.
Mixing with coke barely helps.
Harsh on the nose, harsh on the throat. If you can get past the sensation of swallowing sand you can find a possible hint of caramal.
This is the not hot Cougar of rum.
It gets a bonus point out of sheer sentiment, being my staple diet as a backpacker many years ago! 17 billion better rums out there.
This stuff tastes like tequila with food coloring added. Pour it down the drain.
I am an Aussie but it doesn't make me like this rum. It's rubbish. Tastes like a cheap attempt at rum. Just nope
Really just don't. It is the national spirit but even that won't be enough to get you to enjoy this. I don't know why anyone would think an underproof rum was a good idea. Well actually I guess it means you can get more bottles from the same amount of rum because it's spread out a bit more. "Aged" in 20,000 litre stainless steel vats and it tastes like it. Only way to drink this is as a Black Rat (bundy and coke).
You get what you pay for in this rum, cheap to buy but not great to drink
I'll be honest, I'm not even entirely sure which Bundaberg I tried... But while in Australia I picked up a bottle and it was... not so good. Not terrible, but even mixed it wasn't that enjoyable.
