Rhum JM Epices Creoles

I was a bit disappointed when I opened the bottle as you do not have a cork but a plastic screw cap !!! Nevertheless, what you can find in the bottle is really nice !!! 46 degrees but no taste of alcool with a very good balance and good after taste.

First agricole after a while, definitely felt the burn. Still, it's smooth, a little fruity at first.

Aroma is loght with grass tones. Taste is typical agricole - fresh and floral with woody and pepper tones. Longer aging could improve complexity.

Great and full aroma, hint of vanilla and nutmeg. Tasty is also full of nutmeg, vanilla, pepper, spicy. Little bit more sweet but end is nice and smooth, spicy, fresh. 7/10.

Tasted at False Idol on 5-20-24. Pours a sepia amber. Aroma of baked/burned toffee. Crazy delicious. This might be the meatiest rum I’ve ever had. Very sweet bourbon-like. Fantastic.

Maybe after tasting 500 whiskies something started to change, but this is the first agricole that I actually like. Nutty chocolate flavor.

Remindes me Diplomatico Mantuano, but Diplomatico Mantuano is 20Eur and 8yo rum, and this one is 40Eur and 3yo rum. Anyway, I don't like either of them, but this one JM Epices Creoles is one of the worst rums I ever drunk for that price.

Decent typical agricole (honey and wood) aroma; pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg and smoked finish; decent smoked tail.
