I like the rum smooth, and a bit sweet, without added too much sugar. I got this bottle last summer at the Rombo store in Copenhagen. You can sit for 15 minutes, and just smell it, before the first zip. Then you get a cascade of tastes, and you can sit there, sucking on that one little zip for 5 minutes.
I will definitely take that trip to Rombo, and get another bottle, the next time I visit Denmark.

What a surprise! Smells and tastes like a heaven. Direct comparison and price to Zacapa and cubaney is the winner!

Oak, sweet tobacco, spices and vanilla in the smell. Heavy flavor of toffee, sweet and with a long aftertaste

Dry rum, gentle alcohol, very minor sweetness. This one will be one of my favorite.

po chvíli odpočinku se tato dobrota přesune od alkoholové chutě k příjemnému prožitku. není tolik sladký, ale je jemný a příjemně dřevitý. pravý rum.

A bit stronger at 41%, sherry influenced version of Oliver. Great with cigars.
This is by far the smoothest and most complex rum I've ever had the pleasure of drinking. It is silky smooth, it has a hint of caramel, nuts, smokey flavors and the finishes as the finest scotch you've ever had. I've made vacation plans and traveled great distances for the past few years so I could get my Cubaney Centenario 25 bottles :) I only wish it was available in the USA.

Nice bottle with a golden cork plug
The colour: dark amber or light mahogany
The aroma: vanilla and almonds, further caramel and a spice
The taste: Most people write that it is dry rum but I do not think. A little sweetness is present inside but what is the most characteristic is the smoothness! The taste is full and the rum does not burn on the tongue during the whole time in a mouth. It is so trully harmonious taste that it can be described very difficult. Unhiq XO from the same producer is much more sweeter. I started with quite sweet rums but I forge into dryier more ballanced ones.
The best rum what I tried yet.
