The aroma is like smoke coming off freshly cut wood dipped in diluted cold brew coffee before smoking it, if it makes any sense.
Taste is not as smooth but definitely sippable, complex flavours that develop over time. Really distinct chocolaty maltiness over time. (Edit: Leaving it to aerate develops tropical fruit aromas, only realised it when I left it for 20mins or so. Mango & Banana to be specific)
Aftertaste of vanilla and a little bit of lingering sweetness under the tongue.
Sorry for the fake pretentiousness, lol. This is only my second rum, only ever had Havana Club 7 before.
