Fik langt om længe smagt denne Rom, og var meget begejstret.
Sød, på den gode måde, blød og rund, og en dejlig eftersmag.

Strong vanilla aroma / taste. Right amount of sweetness. Extremely smooth. Make it a double.

It's Presidente by all means, but not as smooth and complex as 19 yo

En bouche l attaque est assez douce, presque sucrée. Les fruits à coque et le caramel ressortent de façon prononcée. La finale n est pas très longue mais appréciable laisse une certaine note de tabac en bouche.

Nose ist fruchtig und man riecht das Fass, die Eiche. Sherrynoten. Wow! Sehr schön.

Taste ist fruchtig, holzig...nasses Fass, fast Schwefel. Leicht trocken, leicht süß. Orangenschale. Mandarine.

Finish ist Milchschokolade und trocken.

Schon sehr gut.

Très bel équilibre pour ce 15 ans d'âge. Du vrai Dominicain !

Ratingy na tento rum sú tu až nečakane dobré, viaceré recenzie priamo prirovnávajú nápoj k Diplomaticu Reserva Exclusiva. Fľaša dosť obyčajná, vôňa spomenutý rum už celkom pripomínala, príjemná, ovocná a jemne korenená. Chuťovo je rum sladší, uvítal by som o chlp menej cukru. Šírkou tónov už na Diplomatico trochu stráca, dominuje karamel, tabak, koža, dub. V porovnaní s ním je trošku drsnejší, i keď nie veľmi. Malé mínus dávam nápoju za kratší koniec, kedy v ústach ostáva výrazný dym. V globále celkom zaujímavý počin, subjektívny rating poctivých 7. Nasledovať bude ochutnávka 19-, resp. 23-ročných verzií, ktoré snáď budú uhladenejšie. Prvotné očakávania boli takmer naplnené, odporúčam však priplatiť necelé 3€ za Diplomatico.

Tasted bittery, smokey and harsh to me, coffee, tobacco or similar tones.I remember most of my friends to disliked it :) Update: 2nd sipping did end up better, the rum is okay (but nothing special for me), simply too forgettable for price paid.
