Real McCoy White Single Blended 3-Year

Nose: Dried fruit and fruit candy.
Pallet: Butterscotch, caramel, vanilla in droves.
Finish: More salted caramel and a touch of heat.

Worth sipping neat, or for its price, really any purpose. Fantastic.

Fantastic for mojito's and daiquiri's. Hard to find where I live.

Aromas of fruit, vanilla, spice, grass and an earthiness. Flavors of vanilla, fruit spice and grass. Ok to sip made great mixed drinks

Good mixer, nice flavors and works well as a well/standard white rum.

This was the time that Laka would up with many cases of Real McCoy.
from the notes, and these are my only notes... "WHY does this rum taste like juicy fruit gum???"
(translated, this means that Real McCoy three year needs to be in a cocktail, not neat)

Decent flavor, with hints of vanilla and caramel, very light fruit. Fairly dry, a bit of heat and some bitterness, but fully tolerable. Not overly complex. Works very nicely as a mixer, does perfectly well in a Daiquiri. I do find it to be worth the price (sub $20). I do recommend trying it.

I would expect more from Foursquare. Not a ton of flavor, and not particularly smooth either. I suppose it isn’t dosed, which is a positive, but I would only burry this in cocktails, not use it as a highlight.

Vanilla on the nose, same on the palate plus coconut with some baking spices on the finish. Just OK to sip but really shines in cocktails like the Hemingway Daiquiri.

Excellent rum. Thoroughly enjoyed this expression. Highly recommend. Daiquiri’s made with this rum a crisp and flavorful.

Tasted at Laka Lono on 9/14/21. Pours clear. A subtle doughy grain aroma. The sweetness evokes a 1950s cyclomate. Still has the signature "barbados burn" at the bitter end.
