Brugal Extra Viejo Gran Reserva

It's decent but nothing special. It has a dark somewhat neutral character which makes it for ok mixing though.

Good rum but it drops into the mixer catagory to me.

Someone brought this back for ne when they came back from thr Dominican Republic. It's not complex and it was not a sipper. Soak you're fruits in it for a fruit cake will do.

Not sure why the rating is so low.
It is some time ago that I tasted this rum, so I can not go into details. But I have it on my rebuy list and in good memory.

Dominican, and a very good one. Full and nice body, but it doesn't really get all the way. Is great as an every-day rum for those of you who love the typical Dominican style rum, and absolutely in drinks.

Für mich ein schöner Rum für alle Tage. Pur oder auf Eis. Aber auch Cuba Libre tauglich. Nicht zu mild.

This is the rum I sipped on while in the DR. Nice and mellow. Warm flavor.

Brugal stellt generell sehr weiche Rums her. Der Extra Viejo ist mein Lieblingsrum der Pur und mit Cola einen wunderbaren Geschmack hat.
