Not sure why the rating is so low.
It is some time ago that I tasted this rum, so I can not go into details. But I have it on my rebuy list and in good memory.

Someone brought this back for ne when they came back from thr Dominican Republic. It's not complex and it was not a sipper. Soak you're fruits in it for a fruit cake will do.

It's decent but nothing special. It has a dark somewhat neutral character which makes it for ok mixing though.

Sorru Brugal but your rum do not sit well with me. Matusalem on the other hand is a good Dominican rum

Chuťou pripomína fernet. Veľmi málo sladký. Pri pití by som ani nepovedal, že pijem rum
