This rum is definitely not good and is only suitable for mixing, but if white rum is to be used, I prefer Havana 3.
Sweet despite a lack of added sugar, but a clear alcohol/ether note that ruins it as a sipper option.
Rum tasting during the global lockdown continued with Brugal Blanco. Beautiful bottle and label design. Clear color. Vanilla, toffee and pure alcohol to the nose and palate when neat sipped. Harsh burn at the end if not mixed. Solid mixer rum from a great distillery in Dominican Republic.
Aromas of vanilla, toffee. Tobacco and vanilla in the mouth. The finish is a bit tart, tannin, and bananas.
