I found this a bit rounder than the default Mojito rums (Havana Club, or Bacardi).
It's actually not that bad on it's own either, though definitely best in a mixer.

Try it once in mojito in Cuba - was ok but nothing more.

Simple bottle and the name, quite a good rum with orange flavor. It's not necessary to talk about the aftertaste. I bought it for $ 7, buy a few more in reserve.

Un buonissimo carta blanca con qualcosa in piΓΉ del soliti rum bianco-dolci, forse una nota di arancia.

I received a bottle as a gift when in Cuba and I really appreciated it. It's perfect to man up Legendario or Cacao liqueurs. I use about 2 liqueur to 1rum and the Carta Blanca lets the flavor really come through while cutting the sweetness.

For mojitos only. Given to me by a friend in Cuba.

Sampled the Ron Cubay selection at their stall at Rum Festival Cardiff on the weekend.

This is a decent Cuban white rum aged for 3 years. It's spicy and sweet on the nose. Fresh and firy on the palate. A quality white that's easily comparable to Flor de Cana 4. Perfect for cocktails!

Too sharp on it's own, but mixes well enough. Forgetable.

I do not prefer white rums and this one is not exception. Not bad aroma of coconut and spice. But taste is very artificial to me, just hints of oak and spicy finish. It could be good for mixed drinks.
