Wow just when you think Foursquare can’t get any better, this is another exceptional rum. Dark full bodied from start to finish. Great lingering taste of excellent rum aged in bourbon cask for 12 years with a slight sherry finish. Having several Plantation Xx Barbados at happy hour dinner it’s nice to come home to an exceptional night cap. More tomorrow. Better than MS #1.
Round 2 on a fresher palette great medium brown color that I love in my rums, initial scent light caramel cinnamon scent no alcohol burn on the nose. First sip a aged taste that burst into long lingering pleasure, second nose not much change from first, second taste oaky depth not a big bourbon presence. This is a true sipping rum a little heat with the next sip but in a good long lingering way. Saving this one for when it gets a bit cooler here in Florida, I think 70 degree temperatures will be better than 88-98 for this exceptional rum, don’t want to water it down with an ice cube.

WOW! 10 out of 10
I had the opportunity to sample Foursquare Masters Series No 2 rum and all I can say is WOW! This is pure torture Richard Seale! Foursquare products just don’t disappoint (at least for my taste). My problem, as Canadian, is to get my hands on your product as very few offerings are available in Canada. Was lucky enough to get a sample of the Master Series No. 2 and can get over how good it is. Of course my search for one of those bottles is « on » and will be the cause of a lot of frustration (as has been Isonomy). From a rating standpoint it ranks up there with my best rums so a 10 it is.
