Rum zrál 3 roky v tropech a poté ještě 3 roky v Evropě v sudech po bourbonu.
Vyrobeno bylo 242 lahví.
Aroma: Připomíná clairinovskou zasmrádlost - citrusy a travnatost, multivitamínový džus a přísahal bych na přítomnost jódu a dalších dezinfekčních přípravků.
Chuť: Pálenková, medová, bylinková. Po chvíli velmi silná pálivost.
Dozvuk: Divně nasládlý, třtinový, vermutový. Neustále přítomná pachuť dezinfekčních přípravků.

Ochutnán vzorek
Čekal jsem agricole a nakonec takový bizár. Zvláštní směs dezinfekcí a vermutu. Klasické agricole atributy velmi upozaděné, v dozvuku vůbec žádné. Rum mi nesedl, ale zajímavost mu rozhodně nejde upřít.

Sample X a collaboration between Kintra and Rum Mercenary have released this molasses based rum produced by the Bonne Mère distillery, located in Sainte-Rose, Guadeloupe. Bonne Mère started as a sugar factory back in 1863, but since 1973 it’s just the distillery that’s still in operation.
This 6 yo single cask rum has matured for 3 years in Guadeloupe, before being transferred to an ex-bourbon cask in Europe for 3 years more of continental aging before bottled brut de fût without cold filtration in 2021 in total of 242 bottles at 59,6%.
The nose is fruity, vegetal and a bit funky with aromas of glue and citrus.
In mouth and at the palate it’s fruity, dry, spicy and woody with flavors of pepper, nuts, leather and orange.
The finish is long with flavors like at the palate.
Overall one of the best molasses based rum from Guadeloupe that I’ve tasted.
