Quite sweet taste with vanilla and coconut notes. If you drink enough from it, you will see the duppies :D Recommend.

Nice copper colour, good body, good taste, only lacks a bit a perfume at the nose. Good purchase.

This is a blend from foursquare with 3,5 and 8 years ..

The nosing is creamy butter , coconut & papaya

The brand was inspired by Caribbean folklore and legends, which include the spirits of duppies. These dark Caribbean ghosts hail from Jamaica and are famous for their uncontrollable love of rum. During the barrel ageing process, some of the spirit evaporates each year, and according to Caribbean legend, it is the duppies who are to blame, stealing the best parts of the rum.
This is a blend of rums aged 5, 8 and 12 years from the famous Barbados distillery Foursquare. The rums were aged in bourbon barrels and bottled at 40% strength.

Bottle: It has a very nice design and is produced in a dark blue flat colour to evoke the twilight in Barbados.
Colour: Dark Amber.
Nose: Roasted cane sugar, butterscotch, vanilla, roasted coconut and bourbon wood.
Taste: Quite sweet, but not oversweet. On the palate again caramel, vanilla, liquorice, ripe plums, marzipan and quite intense mint. There is also sweet wood at the end.
Finish: Short to medium.

Conclusion: Quite sweet rum, but the mint flavour makes this sweetness quite pleasant. Not something I personally search for, but for those who like Oliver's or Bumbu rums, I think this is a very good (rather better) alternative.

Przyjemne nuty wanilii, nieco owoców, beczki w aromacie. W smaku nieco słodyczy, drewna, beczki, ale też zbyt bardzo palącego alkoholu.

This rum is supposed to be Foursquare aged rum blended together with a small dosage of sugar.Reminds me of doorlys xo but more buttery definitely worth a go if your a Foursquare doorlys fan but to dry for your diplomatico zacapa fan
