Chuť: Začátek je překvapivě nasládlý, to jsem u síly 65,5 % nečekal. Na tu sílu i v pohodě pitelný bez ředění. V dochuti hřebíček, svěží dřevitost, sudy po bourbonu. (84 b)
Body: 84/100
Shrnutí: Chválím prezentaci, etiketa a balení se mi hodně líbí. Bodově jsem sice neocenil nijak vysoko, ale bavil mě. Děkuji kamarádovi za velký vzorek a možnost okoštovat.

Spicy, barrel, raisins and smoke in the aroma; sweet start, barrel strength, candid fruit with clove; warming barrel tail.

Overly peppery rum with a hint of smokes, wood and citrus fruits. Feels somewhat raw. They say bourbon finish but I would not recognize that. 61,5% from the very same year is 1 level better rum.

Rum Shark is entering a new era with this edition. An era full of surprises and unexpected discoveries. We managed to obtain large supplies of rum and decided to transport and store them for aging here in the Czech Republic. All these rums are from Belize.

In this first bottling from the edition called “Era of Discovery”, you can find the very origins of it all. Pure, natural and at barrel strength. Straight from Belize where it was resting and aging in barrels after the bourbon.

Barrel strength, completely no additives. That's way of Rum Shark.

Fresh, Fruity and Raw
That's how I feel and describe. Definitely interesting to compare it later with aged variants.
As a beginning, I count it into my rating a side of the other releases.

Definitely not an disappointment to me.

vune alkoholovost, lehka vanilka, lehce kořenění
chut: silá alkoholu v tomto mladém rumu výrazná, silnější pálení, počáteční sladkost přecházející do lehkého koření
zaver : delší ale bez výrazné dominance
bohužel človek si druhý den moc nevzpomene na tento rum...na rozlihovaní ideal :D
