So this is my first Hunter Laing « Kill Devil » rum and unlike many of this brand it does not come in at 46% ABV. This « pot still » rum from Diamond Distillery is a Single Cask version bottled at an impressive 63.2% ABV. The rum is very light in colour and crisp to the taste with notes of cinnamon and citrus. In spite of the high ABV it is rather enjoyable neat and the warmth leaves you wanting more. Very enjoyable rum indeed.
