This is a good quality rum but not as good as the 1796. For price this is amazing and lovely flavours it just doesn't stand up to other rums in the same price bracket ...

Smooth sweet first nose then more mineral. Strong in mouth, burnt caramel. After taste not too good.

Really like this one.
Killed two bottles in less than a week, when I discovered her.

Smooth in nose, quite strong in mouth but lack of personality at the end, a decent rhum.

A step up from the Gran Reserva conserving great value!

Rapport qualité/prix convenable pour ce solera de 9 ans en moyenne.
J'aurais aimé un peu plus de caractère.

It’s a good everyday rhum but it makes killer rhum and cokes with lime. A bit of a crime but to drink on its own I’d go for the big brother.

For whom appreciate Dictador, this one is a bit lighter. A good way to discover world or rum !

Rhum de mélasse du Venezuela, vieilli selon la méthode solera. Titre 40°
Design : belle bouteille noire mais bouchon à vis, le rhum a une belle couleur ambrée.
Nez : épices, alcool, caramel.
En bouche, l'attaque est douce, dominante poivre, boisé léger puis alcool.
Finale : légère amertume puis arrière goût médicamenteux.
Agréable pur, peut servir comme base de cocktail.

Rum Santa Teresa is smooth, it can just be drunk by itself, never an after taste or a headache
