V&M

Saint Catherine 14 yr Jamaica rum, bottled at 54.5%. I haven’t seen any review on this recent bottling by Valinch & Mallet but having tried and really enjoyed of their offerings I had to satisfy my curiosity. This rum is bottled at 54.5% which, for my liking is a very decent and acceptable strength. The nose is very fruity and clean and the alcohol can hardly be detected. The “funk” usually present in many Jamaican rums is very mild and pleasant. First sip does not disappoint, I like it, really like it! Well balanced and “clean”, leaving a nice mild heat in my throat. I have come to expect excellence by Valinch & Mallet and have yet to have anything negative to say about their rums I have tasted. Well Done Again!
