Rum zrál 3 roky v amerických panenských dubových sudech a jedná se o blend 3 sudů destilovaných v roce 2016 a 5 sudů destilovaných v roce 2017.
Vyrobeno bylo 1200 lahví.

Aroma: Pronikavé, ostřejší - čokoláda, sušené ovoce, slaný karamel, vanilka. Vše zahaleno v takovém pikantním hávu.
Chuť: Hutná, čokoládová se špetkou chilli a štiplavým alkoholem.
Dozvuk: Opět čokoláda, závan koření a nahořklého dřeva. Delší a opět v hávu pikantnosti.

Výborné plnění amerického rumu s velmi zajímavým čokoládovo-pikantním profilem.

I was given a sample of this rum. Made by Privateer, a company located in Massachusetts, for Velier. Double distilled with a Vendome still and then using a custom batch still. From imported molasses and no additives.
Is a blend containing 3 to 4 years.
On the nose: vanilla, caramel.
On the palate: Sweet vanilla, and some chocolate.
The ending is short.
Has some Barbadian flare. It tastes quite good for sipping. Now my only beef is the price, around 100 dollars which I think is way too much. In that price range, you can get better rums like the ECS series from Foursquare to name one. I will comfortably pay around 45 dollars or so.
