Researching this rum is tough, defiantly distributed in Europe. The bottle I purchased at auction states sole European distributor F & G Bruino Italy, yet there is no reference of it on their website and the cork disintegrated upon opening suggesting this is an old bottle. I found it on Wine searcher only in Germany, and an old reference from Spain. The auction stated distilled in Cuba, but I believe it’s a Caribbean blended rum by taste, I’m thinking Cuba, Barbados, and Guyana as likely. As you can see it’s a very dark rum at 45% alcohol much to my liking.lots of depth dried fruits, sweet and long finish with welcome burn. Would like to know the complete story.
