Na nose jako první estery, dřevo a pak nastupuje celkem výrazné sherry. Chuť podobně. Pije se to dobře, ale nemůžu se zbavit pocitu, že celkově se ty chutě nepropojily.

My first meeting with rum products from this pretty cool island.
The character is very Jamaican (funky) with PX tones so is relatively sweet even at 63% abv. I might compare this rum to awesome Smith & Cross of similar strength.
Overall about 7,5/10 for me but given the nice price tag and great characteristics (strong but full of flavor) I am gonna round it up.
Like the rum as it stands, no mixers, no drinks aside, just sip it as it is in little doses.
From my short observation this rum is generally more acceptable for broad folks than some other high abv rums (Mhoba, British dark navy rums, etc.)
