Heavy wood notes on the nose taste is smooth hint of rye on taste, finish is slight burn with toffee, peppery and hint of funk on the finish. Imagine jamaican funky rum aged in bourbon barrels

Aged 2 years in Jamaica, 3 years in ex rye barrels in Kentucky, limited release (blend of 3 barrels). The rye hits hard up front, but fades to a sweet, bright lingering flavor. Proof is just right. I would not want it all the time, but a pleasant limited release to try if you have a chance.
