Not as good as the Rum

Supposedly since the spirit is aged wuickly using woodchips for more barrel surface area they can't call it rum. Still tastes like rum, however it is incredibly sweet. Its aged with bourbon cask chips and is quite spicey, with a strong finish of pepper. It was so sweet I had to mix with other rum to mellow it a bit. Worth a try but if I do another Romero Ill spend the extra cash and get the aged in a barrel rum.
