Naga Siam Edition 10-Year

I aactually enjoyed drinking this one, as it left a nice rummy and unsweet taste.on the palate which lasted quite long. Would love it in combination as an irish coffee, substituting the whiskey. Based on tasting a 2 cl sample.

smell is awesome - brown sugar leads the charge. Woody taste and alcohol forward. burn isn't bad and calms to a nice warmth quickly .... then its gone as quickly as it arrived. not quite ready for sipping. Cola took care of the alcohol taste and made a pleasant change.

Smag: virkelig dejlig sødme, og spændende krydderier, den brander dog lidt i halsen, spændende Rom.

Zaujimavy kusok na ochutnanie. Po otvoreni aroma lahka, citit hnedy cukor a vinove sudy. To iste sa opakuje aj v chuti, chvost hrejivy nie prehnane alkoholovy.
Po otvoreni sa v arome prejavi viac sudovost a v chuti jemna horkost.
Nato ze som tento rum objavil na akcii v lidlu, je to celkom chutne ale asi by som ho nesipoval cely vecer. Cenovku by som uvital o 5eur menej. Lebo takto uz vstupuje do teritoria plantation grande reserve a na to nema.

The smell is very fresh and exotic, but it needs a lot of air time to at least try and get rid of the burn.

Nice balance of flavour and alcohol intensity. Strong wood profile with brown sugar. Decent length of finish.

The rum has a nice natural color that I would expect for an aged rum without additives.
On the nose, it is very good but not the best. There is medium sweetness, it is pungent but smooth. Loads of floral notes, butterscotch, citruses.
In taste - refined and smooth. There are oranges, as well as some oakiness and peppermint towards the end. The level of sweetness is nice and there is slight burning throughout.
The aftertaste is bitter sweet (in a good way!).

It is flavorsome enough, a bit of tea, but will not blow your mind.

Aroma is light and spicy.
Taste is again light, bit sweet with vanilla and spice tones, but including some strange technical/artificial taste on background. Not complex, with short and plain aftertaste.

Ikke lige en rom der falder i min smag kan man sige.
