On a trip to Hawaii I got hold of a miniature of this to decide if I would get the full bottle to bring back home. I really wanted to enjoy this in such perfect surroundings. However, in short, it was rough on the palate and a bit of a chore to drink just 50ml. But... their Okolehao (which can't be classified a rum) is far superior.

Pours nice and dark with very little lacing.
Flavor is mostly wood and a warm round pointiness. Very little sweetness but warms nicely. Good sipper!

Purchased this on a trip to Kauai. Has a bit of a burn, a pleasant taste dominated by molasses with some vanilla notes and little sweetness.
